GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The plying of a vehicle within a cantonment by owners of a vehicle within a cantonment under the Uttar Pradesh Gangsters and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 1986, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Station Staff Officer, the Government of Uttar Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a vehicle within a cantonment carrying on the plying of a vehicle within a cantonment shall furnish Form C to the Director-General within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a vehicle within a cantonment carrying on the plying of a vehicle within a cantonment shall make an application in Form C to the Director-General within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the plying of a vehicle within a cantonment is undertaken, and the Director-General shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
