GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The operation of ambulances by ambulance operators under the Tamil Nadu Private Clinical Establishments (Regulation) Act, 1997, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Chief Medical Officer, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every ambulance operator carrying on the operation of ambulances shall furnish Form 21 to the Appropriate Authority within fifteen days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every ambulance operator carrying on the operation of ambulances shall make an application in Form 21 to the Appropriate Authority within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the operation of ambulances is undertaken, and the Appropriate Authority shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
