GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The management of an irrigation system by a water user association by water user associations under the Karnataka Irrigation Act, 1965, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Assistant Engineer, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every water user association carrying on the management of an irrigation system by a water user association shall furnish Form A to the Government of Karnataka within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every water user association carrying on the management of an irrigation system by a water user association shall make an application in Form A to the Government of Karnataka within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the management of an irrigation system by a water user association is undertaken, and the Government of Karnataka shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Karnataka.
