GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The consumption of energy by a designated consumer by designated consumers under the Gujarat Electricity Industry (Reorganisation and Regulation) Act, 2003, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Inspecting Officer, the Government of Gujarat, after careful examination, hereby orders that every designated consumer carrying on the consumption of energy by a designated consumer shall furnish Form IV to the State Commission within sixty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every designated consumer carrying on the consumption of energy by a designated consumer shall make an application in Form IV to the State Commission within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the consumption of energy by a designated consumer is undertaken, and the State Commission shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Energy Department, Government of Gujarat.
