GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The keeping of a bonded warehouse by bonded warehouse keepers under the Punjab Excise Act, 1914, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Excise Officer, the Government of Punjab, after careful examination, hereby orders that every bonded warehouse keeper carrying on the keeping of a bonded warehouse shall furnish Form G to the Excise Commissioner within seven days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every bonded warehouse keeper carrying on the keeping of a bonded warehouse shall make an application in Form G to the Excise Commissioner within seven days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the keeping of a bonded warehouse is undertaken, and the Excise Commissioner shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of Punjab.
