GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: Fishing in a village tank by lessees of a village fishery under the Rajasthan Panchayati Raj Act, 1994, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Chief Executive Officer of the Zila Parishad, the Government of Rajasthan, after careful examination, hereby orders that every lessee of a village fishery carrying on fishing in a village tank shall furnish Form 6 to the Block Development Officer within seven days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every lessee of a village fishery carrying on fishing in a village tank shall make an application in Form 6 to the Block Development Officer within seven days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which fishing in a village tank is undertaken, and the Block Development Officer shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Environment Department, Government of Rajasthan.
