GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The publication of news on a digital platform by publishers of news on a digital platform under the Andhra Pradesh Cinemas (Regulation) Act, 1955, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Deputy Press Registrar, the Government of Andhra Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every publisher of news on a digital platform carrying on the publication of news on a digital platform shall furnish Form II to the Press Council within forty-five days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every publisher of news on a digital platform carrying on the publication of news on a digital platform shall make an application in Form II to the Press Council within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of fifty thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the publication of news on a digital platform is undertaken, and the Press Council shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
