GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The holding of an inam by inamdars under the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Revenue Inspector, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every inamdar carrying on the holding of an inam shall furnish Form 1 to the State Government within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every inamdar carrying on the holding of an inam shall make an application in Form 1 to the State Government within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of an inam is undertaken, and the State Government shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Karnataka.
