GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The supply of certified copies by copying agents under the Tamil Nadu Court Fees and Suits Valuation Act, 1955, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Court Officer, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every copying agent carrying on the supply of certified copies shall furnish Form C to the Legal Services Authority within seven days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every copying agent carrying on the supply of certified copies shall make an application in Form C to the Legal Services Authority within seven days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the supply of certified copies is undertaken, and the Legal Services Authority shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
