GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The survey of land by licensed surveyors under the West Bengal Estates Acquisition Act, 1954, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Circle Officer, the Government of West Bengal, after careful examination, hereby orders that every licensed surveyor carrying on the survey of land shall furnish Form 7 to the Board of Revenue within seven days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensed surveyor carrying on the survey of land shall make an application in Form 7 to the Board of Revenue within seven days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the survey of land is undertaken, and the Board of Revenue shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of West Bengal.
