GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The collection of solid waste by contractors for solid waste collection under the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1972, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Licensing Officer, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every contractor for solid waste collection carrying on the collection of solid waste shall furnish Form E to the Town Planning Authority within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every contractor for solid waste collection carrying on the collection of solid waste shall make an application in Form E to the Town Planning Authority within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the collection of solid waste is undertaken, and the Town Planning Authority shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
