GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION

Subject: The running of a blood bank by blood banks under the Maharashtra Nursing Homes Registration Act, 1949, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Drugs Inspector, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every blood bank carrying on the running of a blood bank shall furnish Form 41 to the Government of Maharashtra within seven days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every blood bank carrying on the running of a blood bank shall make an application in Form 41 to the Government of Maharashtra within seven days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a blood bank is undertaken, and the Government of Maharashtra shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Maharashtra.
