Jaipur, dated the 6th November, 2021

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The keeping of a village shop by keepers of a village shop under the Rajasthan Panchayati Raj Act, 1994, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Panchayat Inspector, the Government of Rajasthan, after careful examination, hereby orders that every keeper of a village shop carrying on the keeping of a village shop shall furnish Form 2 to the Panchayat Samiti within twenty-one days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every keeper of a village shop carrying on the keeping of a village shop shall make an application in Form 2 to the Panchayat Samiti within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the keeping of a village shop is undertaken, and the Panchayat Samiti shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Government of Rajasthan.
