GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The certification of disability by certifying medical authorities under the Karnataka Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Reservation of Seats in Educational Institutions and of Appointments or Posts) Act, 2018, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Rehabilitation Officer, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every certifying medical authority carrying on the certification of disability shall furnish Form VIII to the District Level Committee within seven days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every certifying medical authority carrying on the certification of disability shall make an application in Form VIII to the District Level Committee within seven days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the certification of disability is undertaken, and the District Level Committee shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Social Welfare Department, Government of Karnataka.
