GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: Membership of a society by members under the Punjab Agricultural Produce Markets Act, 1961, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Insecticide Inspector, the Government of Punjab, after careful examination, hereby orders that every member carrying on membership of a society shall furnish Form E to the Government of Punjab within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every member carrying on membership of a society shall make an application in Form E to the Government of Punjab within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which membership of a society is undertaken, and the Government of Punjab shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Punjab.
