GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The keeping of a lodging house by owners of a lodging house under the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1972, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Licensing Officer, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a lodging house carrying on the keeping of a lodging house shall furnish Form B to the Standing Committee within twenty-one days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a lodging house carrying on the keeping of a lodging house shall make an application in Form B to the Standing Committee within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the keeping of a lodging house is undertaken, and the Standing Committee shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Urban Development Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
