GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The plying of a tractor for hire by owners of a tractor plying for hire under the Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1994, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Extension Officer, the Government of Andhra Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a tractor plying for hire carrying on the plying of a tractor for hire shall furnish Form 3 to the Director of Panchayats within fourteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a tractor plying for hire carrying on the plying of a tractor for hire shall make an application in Form 3 to the Director of Panchayats within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the plying of a tractor for hire is undertaken, and the Director of Panchayats shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
