GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION
Subject: The business of a firm by firms under the Maharashtra Shops and Establishments (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 2017, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Deputy Registrar, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every firm carrying on the business of a firm shall furnish Form A to the Registrar of Firms within sixty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every firm carrying on the business of a firm shall make an application in Form A to the Registrar of Firms within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the business of a firm is undertaken, and the Registrar of Firms shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Maharashtra.
