Chennai, dated the 1st January, 2021

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The writing of petitions for reward by petition writers under the Tamil Nadu Court Fees and Suits Valuation Act, 1955, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Nazir, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every petition writer carrying on the writing of petitions for reward shall furnish Form D to the High Court within twenty-one days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every petition writer carrying on the writing of petitions for reward shall make an application in Form D to the High Court within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the writing of petitions for reward is undertaken, and the High Court shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
