GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The management of common areas by associations of allottees under the Karnataka Rent Act, 1999, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Inspecting Officer, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every association of allottees carrying on the management of common areas shall furnish Form A to the Registrar of Co-operative Housing Societies within one hundred and twenty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every association of allottees carrying on the management of common areas shall make an application in Form A to the Registrar of Co-operative Housing Societies within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the management of common areas is undertaken, and the Registrar of Co-operative Housing Societies shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Karnataka.
