ORDER

Subject: The holding of allotted surplus land by allottees of surplus land under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954 (Delhi Act 8 of 1954), the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi is pleased to order that

1. In the circumstances reported by the Patwari, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every allottee of surplus land carrying on the holding of allotted surplus land shall furnish Form 1 to the Collector within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every allottee of surplus land carrying on the holding of allotted surplus land shall make an application in Form 1 to the Collector within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of allotted surplus land is undertaken, and the Collector shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this order may be brought to the notice of the Tourism Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
