GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION

Subject: The safety of a school building by owners of a school building under the Maharashtra Fire Prevention and Life Safety Measures Act, 2007, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Incident Commander, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a school building carrying on the safety of a school building shall furnish Form A to the Director of Fire Services within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a school building carrying on the safety of a school building shall make an application in Form A to the Director of Fire Services within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the safety of a school building is undertaken, and the Director of Fire Services shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Maharashtra.
