GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The holding of Government land on lease by lessees of Government land under the Tamil Nadu Regulation of Rights and Responsibilities of Landlords and Tenants Act, 2017, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Rent Controller, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every lessee of Government land carrying on the holding of Government land on lease shall furnish Form H to the Authority within thirty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every lessee of Government land carrying on the holding of Government land on lease shall make an application in Form H to the Authority within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of Government land on lease is undertaken, and the Authority shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
