GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The retail sale of petroleum products by retail outlet dealers under the Gujarat Electricity Industry (Reorganisation and Regulation) Act, 2003, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Petroleum Inspector, the Government of Gujarat, after careful examination, hereby orders that every retail outlet dealer carrying on the retail sale of petroleum products shall furnish Form VII to the Grievance Redressal Forum within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every retail outlet dealer carrying on the retail sale of petroleum products shall make an application in Form VII to the Grievance Redressal Forum within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the retail sale of petroleum products is undertaken, and the Grievance Redressal Forum shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Registration and Stamps Department, Government of Gujarat.
