Mumbai, dated the 16th February, 2020

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The sale of insecticides by dealers in insecticides under the Maharashtra Agricultural Lands (Ceiling on Holdings) Act, 1961, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Assistant Registrar of Co-operative Societies, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every dealer in insecticides carrying on the sale of insecticides shall furnish Form D to the Government of Maharashtra within seven days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every dealer in insecticides carrying on the sale of insecticides shall make an application in Form D to the Government of Maharashtra within seven days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the sale of insecticides is undertaken, and the Government of Maharashtra shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Agriculture Department, Government of Maharashtra.
