GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The construction of buildings in a vulnerable area by owners of a building in a vulnerable area under the Gujarat State Disaster Management Act, 2003, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Emergency Officer, the Government of Gujarat, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a building in a vulnerable area carrying on the construction of buildings in a vulnerable area shall furnish Form D to the Civil Defence Controller within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a building in a vulnerable area carrying on the construction of buildings in a vulnerable area shall make an application in Form D to the Civil Defence Controller within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the construction of buildings in a vulnerable area is undertaken, and the Civil Defence Controller shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Gujarat.
