GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: Fishing in a village tank by lessees of a village fishery under the Rajasthan Panchayati Raj Act, 1994, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Block Development Officer, the Government of Rajasthan, after careful examination, hereby orders that every lessee of a village fishery carrying on fishing in a village tank shall furnish Form 2 to the Panchayat Samiti within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every lessee of a village fishery carrying on fishing in a village tank shall make an application in Form 2 to the Panchayat Samiti within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which fishing in a village tank is undertaken, and the Panchayat Samiti shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Rajasthan.
