GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The operation of ambulances by ambulance operators under the Maharashtra Nursing Homes Registration Act, 1949, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Medical Officer, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every ambulance operator carrying on the operation of ambulances shall furnish Form 29 to the Appropriate Authority within fifteen days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every ambulance operator carrying on the operation of ambulances shall make an application in Form 29 to the Appropriate Authority within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the operation of ambulances is undertaken, and the Appropriate Authority shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Maharashtra.
