GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION
Subject: The occupation of waqf property by tenants of waqf property under the Maharashtra Public Trusts Act, 1950, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Assistant Charity Commissioner, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every tenant of waqf property carrying on the occupation of waqf property shall furnish Form F to the Charity Commissioner within fifteen days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every tenant of waqf property carrying on the occupation of waqf property shall make an application in Form F to the Charity Commissioner within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the occupation of waqf property is undertaken, and the Charity Commissioner shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Maharashtra.
