GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The execution of electrical installation work by electrical contractors under the Gujarat Electricity Industry (Reorganisation and Regulation) Act, 2003, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Electrical Inspector, the Government of Gujarat, after careful examination, hereby orders that every electrical contractor carrying on the execution of electrical installation work shall furnish Form III to the Appropriate Commission within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every electrical contractor carrying on the execution of electrical installation work shall make an application in Form III to the Appropriate Commission within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the execution of electrical installation work is undertaken, and the Appropriate Commission shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Gujarat.
