GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The transport of school children by operators of a school bus under the Karnataka Education Act, 1995, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Registrar, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of a school bus carrying on the transport of school children shall furnish Form F to the Board of Secondary Education within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a school bus carrying on the transport of school children shall make an application in Form F to the Board of Secondary Education within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the transport of school children is undertaken, and the Board of Secondary Education shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Education Department, Government of Karnataka.
