GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION
Subject: Dealing in excisable articles by dealers under the Bombay Prohibition Act, 1949, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Sub-Inspector of Excise, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every dealer carrying on dealing in excisable articles shall furnish Form D to the District Excise Officer within fourteen days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every dealer carrying on dealing in excisable articles shall make an application in Form D to the District Excise Officer within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of one lakh rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which dealing in excisable articles is undertaken, and the District Excise Officer shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Maharashtra.
