GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The survey of land by licensed surveyors under the Bihar Tenancy Act, 1885, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Deputy Tahsildar, the Government of Bihar, after careful examination, hereby orders that every licensed surveyor carrying on the survey of land shall furnish Form 12 to the Collector within seven days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensed surveyor carrying on the survey of land shall make an application in Form 12 to the Collector within seven days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the survey of land is undertaken, and the Collector shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Agriculture Department, Government of Bihar.
