GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: Dealing in wild animal articles by dealers in wild animal articles under the Kerala Forest Act, 1961, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Forest Officer, the Government of Kerala, after careful examination, hereby orders that every dealer in wild animal articles carrying on dealing in wild animal articles shall furnish Form II to the State Board within seven days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every dealer in wild animal articles carrying on dealing in wild animal articles shall make an application in Form II to the State Board within seven days, accompanied by a fee of one lakh rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which dealing in wild animal articles is undertaken, and the State Board shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Kerala.
