GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The execution of relief works by contractors for relief works under the Gujarat State Disaster Management Act, 2003, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Civil Defence Officer, the Government of Gujarat, after careful examination, hereby orders that every contractor for relief works carrying on the execution of relief works shall furnish Form E to the Civil Defence Controller within fifteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every contractor for relief works carrying on the execution of relief works shall make an application in Form E to the Civil Defence Controller within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the execution of relief works is undertaken, and the Civil Defence Controller shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Gujarat.
