GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION
Subject: The placement of domestic workers by placement agencies under the Maharashtra State Commission for Women Act, 1993, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Probation Officer, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every placement agency carrying on the placement of domestic workers shall furnish Form VIII to the Commission within seven days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every placement agency carrying on the placement of domestic workers shall make an application in Form VIII to the Commission within seven days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the placement of domestic workers is undertaken, and the Commission shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Maharashtra.
