GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The operation of a lift irrigation scheme by owners of a lift irrigation scheme under the Kerala Irrigation and Water Conservation Act, 2003, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Ground Water Officer, the Government of Kerala, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a lift irrigation scheme carrying on the operation of a lift irrigation scheme shall furnish Form E to the Government of Kerala within seven days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a lift irrigation scheme carrying on the operation of a lift irrigation scheme shall make an application in Form E to the Government of Kerala within seven days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the operation of a lift irrigation scheme is undertaken, and the Government of Kerala shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Water Resources Department, Government of Kerala.
