GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The running of a hospital by hospitals under the Tamil Nadu Private Clinical Establishments (Regulation) Act, 1997, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Medical Officer, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every hospital carrying on the running of a hospital shall furnish Form 20 to the Appropriate Authority within seven days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every hospital carrying on the running of a hospital shall make an application in Form 20 to the Appropriate Authority within seven days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a hospital is undertaken, and the Appropriate Authority shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
