GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The execution of canal works by contractors for canal works under the Maharashtra Irrigation Act, 1976, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Superintending Engineer, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every contractor for canal works carrying on the execution of canal works shall furnish Form F to the Ground Water Authority within one hundred and twenty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every contractor for canal works carrying on the execution of canal works shall make an application in Form F to the Ground Water Authority within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the execution of canal works is undertaken, and the Ground Water Authority shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Maharashtra.
