GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The manufacture of drugs by manufacturers under the Karnataka Private Medical Establishments Act, 2007, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Assistant Drugs Controller, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every manufacturer carrying on the manufacture of drugs shall furnish Form 19 to the State Medical Council within twenty-one days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every manufacturer carrying on the manufacture of drugs shall make an application in Form 19 to the State Medical Council within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the manufacture of drugs is undertaken, and the State Medical Council shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Karnataka.
