New Delhi, dated the 12th February, 2018

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The sale of liquor for consumption on the premises by bar licensees under the Delhi Excise Act, 2009, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Deputy Commissioner of Excise, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every bar licensee carrying on the sale of liquor for consumption on the premises shall furnish Form C to the Collector within fourteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every bar licensee carrying on the sale of liquor for consumption on the premises shall make an application in Form C to the Collector within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the sale of liquor for consumption on the premises is undertaken, and the Collector shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
