GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The survey of land by licensed surveyors under the Punjab Security of Land Tenures Act, 1953, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Circle Officer, the Government of Punjab, after careful examination, hereby orders that every licensed surveyor carrying on the survey of land shall furnish Form 7 to the Collector within one hundred and twenty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensed surveyor carrying on the survey of land shall make an application in Form 7 to the Collector within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the survey of land is undertaken, and the Collector shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Punjab.
