GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The conduct of a place of public resort by keepers of a place of public resort under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act, 1999, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Licensing Officer, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every keeper of a place of public resort carrying on the conduct of a place of public resort shall furnish Form III to the State Government within twenty-one days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every keeper of a place of public resort carrying on the conduct of a place of public resort shall make an application in Form III to the State Government within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the conduct of a place of public resort is undertaken, and the State Government shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Maharashtra.
