GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The performance of rituals in a temple by archakas under the Andhra Pradesh Societies Registration Act, 2001, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Auditor of Trusts, the Government of Andhra Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every archaka carrying on the performance of rituals in a temple shall furnish Form A to the Charity Commissioner within three hundred and sixty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every archaka carrying on the performance of rituals in a temple shall make an application in Form A to the Charity Commissioner within three hundred and sixty-five days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the performance of rituals in a temple is undertaken, and the Charity Commissioner shall dispose of it within three hundred and sixty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
