GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The construction of a building in a village by owners of a building in a village under the West Bengal Panchayat Act, 1973, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Extension Officer, the Government of West Bengal, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a building in a village carrying on the construction of a building in a village shall furnish Form 8 to the Block Development Officer within fifteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a building in a village carrying on the construction of a building in a village shall make an application in Form 8 to the Block Development Officer within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the construction of a building in a village is undertaken, and the Block Development Officer shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of West Bengal.
