GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The running of a shooting range by proprietors of a shooting range under the Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act, 1937, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Executive Magistrate, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every proprietor of a shooting range carrying on the running of a shooting range shall furnish Form III to the Licensing Authority within fifteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every proprietor of a shooting range carrying on the running of a shooting range shall make an application in Form III to the Licensing Authority within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a shooting range is undertaken, and the Licensing Authority shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
