GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The transport of school children by operators of a school bus under the Maharashtra Universities Act, 2016, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the District Education Officer, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of a school bus carrying on the transport of school children shall furnish Form G to the Government of Maharashtra within one hundred and twenty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a school bus carrying on the transport of school children shall make an application in Form G to the Government of Maharashtra within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the transport of school children is undertaken, and the Government of Maharashtra shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Maharashtra.
