GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The holding of Government land on lease by lessees of Government land under the Odisha Survey and Settlement Act, 1959, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Tahsildar, the Government of Odisha, after careful examination, hereby orders that every lessee of Government land carrying on the holding of Government land on lease shall furnish Form 5 to the Tahsildar within seven days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every lessee of Government land carrying on the holding of Government land on lease shall make an application in Form 5 to the Tahsildar within seven days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of Government land on lease is undertaken, and the Tahsildar shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Odisha.
