GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The storage of agricultural produce by licensees of a warehouse under the Punjab Agricultural Produce Markets Act, 1961, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Plant Protection Officer, the Government of Punjab, after careful examination, hereby orders that every licensee of a warehouse carrying on the storage of agricultural produce shall furnish Form B to the Market Committee within forty-five days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every licensee of a warehouse carrying on the storage of agricultural produce shall make an application in Form B to the Market Committee within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the storage of agricultural produce is undertaken, and the Market Committee shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Water Resources Department, Government of Punjab.
