GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The management of a gurdwara by committees of a gurdwara under the Odisha Hindu Religious Endowments Act, 1952, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Executive Officer, the Government of Odisha, after careful examination, hereby orders that every committee of a gurdwara carrying on the management of a gurdwara shall furnish Form H to the Deputy Charity Commissioner within one hundred and eighty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every committee of a gurdwara carrying on the management of a gurdwara shall make an application in Form H to the Deputy Charity Commissioner within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the management of a gurdwara is undertaken, and the Deputy Charity Commissioner shall dispose of it within one hundred and eighty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Consumer Affairs Department, Government of Odisha.
